This inspirational weekend quote reminds me to keep everything in perspective. Yes, we need to react to a crisis as it's happening, but in hindsight we can learn to laugh it off. When I'm in a crisis, life seems to move in slow motion. I hold my breath, clench my stomach and wonder how I'll get through.
With a new day brings me new perspective...
Joking might be a little too relaxed for difficult situations, but learning to let go can change everything. Sometimes my girlfriend will make a joke, no one laughs and she'll have to ask us, "Too soon?"
This quote by H.G. Wells is great to remember when things get tough. And this is why we aren't all fortune tellers. If we were then we would hardly take anything seriously?
Imagine saying to someone, "Breaking up with him is actually a good thing as he's going to cheat on you anyway and your about to meet someone wonderful!"
With every life's twists and turns, I find it hard sometimes to let things roll off my back. Just as I'm starting to feel safe and comfortable a crisis seems to arise. I promise to keep this inspirational weekend quote in mind if you do? Tell me how do you keep your cool in a crisis?

This is great advice and I do find it to be very true. I try to give everything 24 hours and see how I feel tomorrow. What I'm realizing is that it usually isn't all that bad the next day. Thankfully. Great Friday inspiration. Have a beautiful weekend Laura and thanks for including me on your blogroll, I do appreciate it. =)
I'm going to pass this quote along to a friend who was just told her apartment is going to be sold and she needs to move pronto. (This had not been in her game plan!)
It's also a great piece of advice for many brides; it's so easy to get sucked into the wedding planning crisis du jour if one loses perspective.
so very true
in a crisis, i talk outloud about the situation hearing this helps me to get a grip and start to reason. at times, i just need to sleep on it if permitted.
People who wait for changes to occur on the outside before they commit to making changes on the inside will never make any changes at all.

We don't need crises - a change is enough to make us negative, defenceless...

The Simply Luxurious Life: Also great advice sweetie and I also try to wait 24 hours when sending a serious email before pressing send. Blogroll...of course and I love your blog!
Lyssabeth's Wedding Officiant: Thank you so much for your comment and let me know if this quote helps your friend. It helped me for sure! The hard part is remembering hot to act in the crisis...
I tend to take things really personally, so I am working on taking a more objective approach. I am a big fan of sleeping on a problem. Things that seem so overwhelming seem manageable after a good nights sleep.
Great inspirational quote!
