Inspirational Weekend Quote

What a wonderful inspirational weekend quote! It's never too late to become the person you've always hoped you could be and I love this thought.

I'm never too old, too busy, too sick, too happy or too tired to become the person I know I can be...

Some people learn this lesson early in life and some later, but it's a gift to know that we never stop growing and learning.

I like the person I am today sweetie and have worked hard to be able to say that. I appreciate my strengths and values and will continue to work on my weaknesses. Since I am in the moment of today, I know I need to be the best I can be...today!

Do you agree with this inspirational quote?

Change Post from The Simply Luxurious Life

I am so lucky to have Shannon from The Simply Luxurious Life guest post again. I've always had to remind myself that change is a blessing and this post is a wonderful example in pictures of how I'm feeling. We're driving a U-haul from San Francisco to Los Angeles today send positives thoughts...will post soon.
~
The Charm of Change

Life, our lives, are not stagnant. We are perpetually moving forward, although if we are absentmindedly sitting behind the wheel, we may not be going in a direction that is the best course for the lives of our dreams. The reality and the blessing is that change happens and it is a good thing, but it has to do with how we approach it.

Immediately I know some of you may be shaking your head, but look at it this way, as much as we want to convince ourselves that we are in control of our lives, we really only have control over our actions and reactions. The reality is that we create our reality based on what we believe, what we have experienced and how we think.

If nothing else, the realization that change will happen should be a reminder to us every day to soak up the goodness, be appreciative, live in the moment, not hold back and live as though tomorrow we will not have the same opportunity. Use the knowledge of change occurring on a regular basis to propel you to achieve your dreams, your goals, your deep-down-desires today – don’t put it off any longer. Allow this acceptance of change to be your great motivator. If not now, when?

Lastly, I would like to extend a tip of the hat to Laura for inviting me to contribute to her blog while she herself is undergoing a bit of an exciting change. Thank you again Laura, it is a true pleasure to be here.

Thank you sweetie for this lovely post! So tell me would you consider yourself someone that is good with change?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

Thank you for all of your comments of support as Honey and I make the move from San Francisco to Los Angeles. See sweetie, you never know what's around the corner for you. And I find this inspirational weekend quote to be a wonderful reminder of positivity and light.

I can actually hear and feel the page turning the chapter in my book.

This week I've been having lunches and dinners with the wonderful friends I've made in SF. And our goodbye party reminded me of the new family I've surrounded myself in NorCal. San Francisco has been my home for eight years and it was the best decision for me. I had 4 years for finding myself and the next 4 years with my Honey.

I'll miss you San Francisco, but I'm excited for the next steps!

Sunshine comes through you to reach others. Can you relate to this inspirational weekend quote sweetie?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

Two years ago I discovered a book that spoke to me and I finished reading in only three days. Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Sure, sure I know that this movie seems to be everywhere and I've heard the mixed reviews, but Elizabeth's message is all about letting go.

Letting go...

Such a hard skill to master. Believing that someone else has planned the journey and all you need to do is BELIEVE and let go.

And I'm super excited to see how the magic of the book is captured on the big screen. Over the years I've given this book away to girlfriends as gifts. There was my honey's boss, my girlfriend who's going through a divorce, my married friend who's having a hard time getting pregnant and then to my bridesmaid after she had surgery.

All at a different stage in life and responded to the message just as I did.

I was hoping that this book would help teach them about the amazing journey we're all on. Life is happening now...in this moment...let go on your journey. And the Margherita pizza is still making my mouth water. Have you seen Eat Pray Love yet sweetie? Did you feel the same message?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

This inspirational weekend quote is to be happy for the moment as this moment is your life. This year has been filled with so much change.

One of those changes came from my father being diagnosed with a unique form of early cancer.

During the fall he went through two treatments and surgery and today is feeling well and his tests are showing no cancer. Please send positive thoughts sweetie....

So today I'm in L.A. to help support him and the team he created in the Relay for Life for Moorpark. Today's relay is help bring awareness to cancer, remember who we've lost, honor those that are still fighting and to raise money for the American Cancer Society. This is an all day and all night event and each team will have a booth. And can you guess what our booth is going to be? Glitter body tattoos. Be happy for the moment as this moment is your life fits perfectly with life's twists and turns. I hope you have a wonderful weekend lovely!

Inspirational Weekend Quote

I love the idea of this inspirational weekend quote to live generously by doing and thinking of others. This book talks about the little and big ways of being in the moment in your life. It's amazing to watch people in my life change when they go outside of themselves to help others. And isn't that what it's all about? I know that living generously will bring goodness to our lives.

Some of the suggestions are planting a garden to doing random acts of kindness. You know what sweetie, I've been accused of being a little too nice, but I'd like to think that I'm able to see the silver lining. And if I can't find that lining then I make one. Today I plan to live generously by learning more about this books community and learning from the positivity. What generous act can you do today sweetie? Have a great weekend!

Inspirational Weekend Quote

This inspirational weekend quote reminds me to measure myself in different ways then I've been taught to. In my life I've spent a lot of time trying to learn this lesson. Haven't you? Acceptance is a very difficult measurement to learn. And then we tend to struggle with just being still...

Numbers and statistics do not define me as I define me!

I want to be measured by what kind of wife, daughter, sister and friend I am. Measured by my positive energy and outlook on life. Does it matter what the scale says about me or what age I got married?

Not to me!

My inner thoughts should outshine how I look on the outside. And I believe that beautiful on the inside equals beauty on the outside.

Sometimes I struggle with taking care of myself by eating the right things and getting exercise. That's because there is high blood pressure and cancer in my family. I've learned the lesson that I need to take care of myself for the people that I love as well as feeling well day to day. This inspirational weekend quote touched my heart and encourages me to try and be still. How did this quote touch you?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

Not sure how much of an inspirational weekend quote this will be, but sometimes I feel like saying this out loud when I see an amazing outfit. "Your clothes...give them to me now!" And this usually happens when I walk down Union Street in San Francisco or along the boardwalk on Third Street Promenade in Los Angeles.

Someone will walk past me and I am inspired by their clothing creation. Plus I love their confidant swagger when a woman or man knows they look good. So if I can't ask them to give me their clothes, I can at least use the fashion inspiration the next time I open my closet.

Don't they say that imitation is the best form of flattery!

It took me until my middle twenties to grow into my own skin and find my own sophistication, but my clothing choices change when I travel. The universal fashion inspiration that I've learned is to feel comfortable in your own skin. Tell me if you agree or disagree with this inspirational weekend quote sweetie?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

This inspirational weekend quote speaks volumes to me. The Zen tea bag message reminds me to think of others before myself. That way the rewards are endless and will come back like a boomerang. When I try to uplift others by thinking of them I do feel uplifted. It's just like the joy I feel when I give someone a present. It means the world to see the receiver of the gift happy and thought of.

Now flip the feeling and remember what it's like when someone lifts you up with a phone call or a smile. It makes my day to know I was thought of. I do believe what you put out you get back. Don't you? So let's take this one step further and help uplift someone today. If you do then imagine watching the situation out of body and appreciate how much you cared for another. Loved this inspirational quote? Do you find it easier to be positive or negative sweetie?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

This inspirational weekend quote reminds me to keep everything in perspective. Yes, we need to react to a crisis as it's happening, but in hindsight we can learn to laugh it off. When I'm in a crisis, life seems to move in slow motion. I hold my breath, clench my stomach and wonder how I'll get through.

With a new day brings me new perspective...

Joking might be a little too relaxed for difficult situations, but learning to let go can change everything. Sometimes my girlfriend will make a joke, no one laughs and she'll have to ask us, "Too soon?"

This quote by H.G. Wells is great to remember when things get tough. And this is why we aren't all fortune tellers. If we were then we would hardly take anything seriously?

Imagine saying to someone, "Breaking up with him is actually a good thing as he's going to cheat on you anyway and your about to meet someone wonderful!"

With every life's twists and turns, I find it hard sometimes to let things roll off my back. Just as I'm starting to feel safe and comfortable a crisis seems to arise. I promise to keep this inspirational weekend quote in mind if you do? Tell me how do you keep your cool in a crisis?

Italian fashion inspiration

Two weeks away in Tuscany and Rome was a much needed trip after the weddings. As soon as we touched down in Italy, I started to hear the angels singing as I saw the unique fashions pass me by. The roman sandals, fabulous bags, parachute pants and sunglasses were all calling my name.
And now I feel inspired by the soft Italian leather, classy lines and women dressed to the nine. Honey and I would turn a corner and I would see into a dress shop and my breath would be taken away.

So the Italians truly have secrets about food, love and fashion.

But the shoes were just fabulous and amazing. I could have bought so many pairs and made them my own. I took one pair home and I promise they will be worn out soon.

Fashion is an art and then it takes the woman to carry it off. Can you feel her confidence in this bold red trench?

And this was a typical storefront in Florence. What made me stop dead in my tracks were the gorgeous children clothes shops. The Italian children were dressed so well.

I discovered that my own fashion sense tends to be European. Blame it on my English family, but my clothes were similar to the fashion trends.

I feel forever changed and inspired by the Italian fashion trends sweetie. What has inspired you on your travels? Do you still use your inspiration today?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

Today's inspirational weekend quote reminds me to look and to find the happiness within everything.

Happiness for me is a combination of many things and people.

The perfect red rose in my neighbors hedges, the taste of chocolate drizzled over strawberries, a compliment from someone that you weren't expecting, the right temperature of tea, listening to a piece of music that makes me get up and dance, seeing a retro photo, thinking outside of the box, happiness is talking to my friends and family, a random act of kindness, a kiss on the nose, sharing in others joy, giving a present, smiling at a stranger, fruit lip gloss, and watching World Cup soccer and screaming for a team....yeah.

Just thinking about my happiness inspiration makes me happy sweetie. So use this inspiration to smile a little bigger today and I'll wait as you go and put some fruity lip gloss on. Now it's your turn can you finish this sentence... "Happiness is...

Inspirational Weekend Quote

This inspirational weekend quote is to stay bright and open and push away the negative thoughts. Ah yes. Take in the good and push away the bad. How much better does your day become if we accomplish this?

Do you enjoy people and stay in the moment more, I do!

So much positive change is swirling around me and I think its because of summer. Three friends just got engaged and work is slower and my coffees are turning into iced ones.

Is there a new spring in my step...am I smiling a little brighter....do I feel different now that I am Mrs. Honey. Yes and I am so thankful for it. Today I choose to feel content and pass through the bad vibes. Won't you join me sweetie? Have a wonderful weekend and I promise to have some wedding pics for you on Monday.

Inspirational Weekend Quote

The creativity of this inspirational weekend quote just jumped out at me. Our every day lives with how we see fairy tales seemed to seamlessly work together. But how do you explain to a little girl that life is more like this picture?

Special stolen moments while living an ordinary life?

The princesses in my fairy tales never had a difficult day. And yet we still look for and want the fairy tale?

My inspiration comes from striving for ultimate happiness with the understanding that life doesn't always work out that way.

But that's OK with me. I can take the good with the bad to appreciate my stolen moments. Have you ever imagined yourself staring back in a situation? It's a wonderful way of getting out of yourself and just seeing the situation for what it truly is.

Today as your walking through your normal day, take a moment to see the fairy tale vs. your ordinary life? Tell me sweetie, would you give this inspirational quote as advice to someone in your life?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

Doesn't this inspirational weekend quote remind you to think about the most powerful moments in your life? Like when your breath was knocked right out of you?

It did for me!

Sometimes the breathless moments in my life have been negative and other times positive.

I can vividly remember being told the wonderful news that my step-mother was pregnant and it took my breath away. I can also still feel the moment I was told my Uncle had stage IV lung cancer.

Life twists and turns, but its moments of change that I live for.

Feeling the breath away from my body reminds me to appreciate every day. What can we do to remind ourselves of this inspirational weekend quote? Have a wonderful weekend sweetie!

Inspirational Weekend Quote

Oh Audrey Hepburn, how I love thee. I feel like we could have been good friends dancing together, dressing in ballet flats, wearing french twists, traveling the world or maybe even just speaking french.

Wait does every woman think Audrey was speaking directly to them? This inspirational weekend quote speaks to my girlie side.

I also believe in pink and kissing a lot. I believe a smile makes the difference to a person who is beautiful on the inside and out. I believe I should always stop and smell the roses and if someone with me doesn't believe in stopping, then I can gently encourage them otherwise. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe that ice cream and chocolate are some of the most amazing food inventions ever. I believe in dancing for no reason. I believe in telling people how much they mean to me. I believe in finding your own outlet. I believe in finding your own truth!

Now its your turn to tell me what you believe sweetie...and I'm still looking for some wonderful guest bloggers to write a post for "calling all love stories" for the weeks of May 24th to June 15th. Interested lovely then please email me at shhh.under.the.sheets@gmail.com. Have a great weekend!

Inspirational Weekend Quote

"As our days go by, all we can do is to promise to be better then the day before." How much do you love this inspirational weekend quote sweetie? Oh I do.

Since I can't be like anyone else, I promise to improve myself. I like how this quote still gives me permission to make mistakes, take a step back and then have the power try again.

It's almost like pressing rewind of my life on a DVD...

Next days are fresh starts to a new beginning of being me.
We just have to recognize the gift or find good people in our lives who can remind us of this.

I promise to remind you of this inspirational quote if you remind me? Have a wonderful weekend and remember to strive for the best. What do you think of this quote?

Inspirational Weekend Quote

What a wonderful and challenging inspirational weekend quote! Would you feel braver to try new things if you knew you could never fail or would you not push yourself further? Never being able to fail is such an interesting concept. How would you learn from your mistakes?

I appreciate trying and sometimes failing as that's my way of growing. And never failing at school, at relationships, with money, friendships and parenting could present new issues. How would any of us stand out in the crowd? Think outside of the box if everything we tried was successful.

Maybe we would find another way...

Another way to measure our successes would be to set a different bar without failure. Take this inspirational weekend quote away with you and let me know what you would you do without ever failing?
